As of August 2018 the State of California has changed the requirements of the Prop 65 law. We now must list on our website any possible chemicals the can cause cancer, birth defects or reproductive problem.
As an example: ABS plastic contains styrene PVC wire insulation can contain Di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP) electrolytic capacitors can contain Ethylene glycol Brass can contain Lead flame retardant pc boards can contain Tetrabromobisphenol A (TBBPA) Aluminum alloys can contain Chromium To put it simply we are a small company and do not have the resources to test every single part, so we list every thing as hazardous. NOT convenient | |
| Sat 8/13/2022 4:01 pm. It *is* really cute. I dont know how it works because it takes a 5.5/2.1mm Jack with no indication of polarity, and I dont plan to experiment with gradually bringing up the voltage. And Im not really tempted, cause once I hook-up a wallwart itll be less convenient than other signal generators I have lying about -- which is my fault. I was overcome by cuteness. The stuff covering the transparent plastic is NOT easy to get off. The thing *doesnt* assemble easily. I had to sort-off jiggle it into position, screw in one corner, jiggle more, screw in the opposite corner, and so forth. In short, unless you have a particular need for a small signal generator, I wouldnt. | ||

Nice Little Audio Generator for the Sound Tech Toolbox | |
| This is a fun little kit to put together. I like the simple design and small size. It works well and has good output as opposed to most cell phone apps which wont provide enough output for many amps especially sub plate amps to reach full output; this unit has STRONG output.
